Podcast of the Week
Most AI initiatives don’t fail because the model is weak, they fail because the system isn’t ready
In this episode, Siri Swahari, AI Leader at CGI, explains what it really takes to move AI from pilot to production in large enterprises - where data is fragmented, systems are complex, and accountability matters. This is a practical look at how AI operates inside real organizations, not in labs, but in environments with financial, regulatory, and operational consequences. Key insights from Siri:
AI is a systems challenge, not a model challenge
Governance, data ownership, and workflows determine success
Executives must actively participate, not just sponsor AI initiatives
Most pilots fail due to lack of clarity, not lack of capability
Silos are the biggest barrier to scaling AI in enterprises
The 40–70 rule: act with enough data, but don’t wait too long
Real value comes from repeatable, well-structured use cases
Culture and workforce adoption matter more than access to tools
TL;DR: AI doesn’t fail because of technology It fails because organizations don’t change how they operate. Check it out here: 🔗 YouTube – Amazon Music – Apple Podcasts – Spotify – RSS
The Big Story
The Attention Economy Just Got Its Third Continent
On May 5th, OpenAI officially opened its ChatGPT advertising platform to all U.S. businesses — no agency contract, no $50,000 floor, no waiting list. Any company with a credit card can now place ads inside one of the most decision-oriented surfaces in the history of digital media.
This is not an incremental update to digital advertising. It is the arrival of a third major intent ecosystem — after Google Search and Meta’s social graph — and it operates on fundamentally different logic. When someone types a query into Google, they reveal a keyword. When they open ChatGPT and describe their situation, they reveal a decision in progress.
The unit of advertising just changed from a keyword to a conversation.
OpenAI launched a self-serve Ads Manager with cost-per-click bidding, a pixel for conversion tracking, and a Conversions API — the full measurement stack that modern performance marketers require. CPC bids are running at $3–$5. The previous $50,000 minimum has been eliminated entirely.
Why Claude Code Might Be the Most Underrated AI Tool Right Now
Over the past year, most AI conversations have focused on chatbots. But the real shift may be happening somewhere else entirely:
AI systems that operate directly on your computer. After hearing repeated praise from operators and founders experimenting with Claude Code, I finally spent time testing it myself.
The result surprised me. Claude Code is not really a “coding tool.”
It’s better understood as a local AI operating system: an AI agent capable of interacting with files, workflows, folders, transcripts, research, and operational tasks directly on your machine. That changes the entire experience.
Unlike browser-based AI assistants, local AI systems can:
work across large files
run longer workflows
access local context
organize systems
automate repetitive tasks
chain actions together
The result feels less like chatting with AI and more like delegating work to a digital operator. And non-technical users are already finding surprisingly creative ways to use it.

The Big Mental Shift
Most people fail to understand Claude Code because of the name. The word “Code” makes non-technical users assume:
“This isn’t for me.” That’s a mistake.
The better mental model is:
👉 Claude Local
👉 Claude Agent
👉 AI Chief of Staff
👉 AI Operations Assistant
You are not required to be technical. You simply need to think in workflows instead of prompts.

What Makes Claude Code Different
The important takeaway is not the individual prompts. It’s the operating model. Traditional AI chatbots mostly generate outputs.
Claude Code can:
execute workflows
interact with systems
manage operational tasks
maintain local context
automate repetitive processes
That is a major shift. We are moving from: “AI that answers questions” to: “AI that performs work.” And most people still haven’t realized it yet.

Final Thought
The biggest misconception in AI today is that the future belongs to better chatbots. It probably doesn’t. The next major wave is AI systems that:
operate locally
take actions
coordinate workflows
manage information
execute tasks autonomously
Claude Code is one of the clearest early examples of that future. And right now, most people are massively underestimating what that means.
Tactical Insight
Most executives still think AI value comes from: better outputs.
The real value is shifting toward: reduced operational friction.
That’s why the next AI winners may not look like software companies.
They may look like: AI-native operating systems.

How to Run Your First ChatGPT Ad Test in 30 Minutes
Claim your account at ads.openai.com. Verification takes minutes. No minimum spend now required.
Install the OpenAI Pixel on your site — similar to Meta Pixel — to track post-click conversions. Without this, you are flying blind.
Choose one campaign tied to a high-intent moment: a product someone researches before buying, not a brand-awareness play. ChatGPT’s users are in active decision mode.
Set a $500–$2,000 test budget with CPC bidding. Starting bids of $3–$5. Run for 2–3 weeks before drawing conclusions.
Measure against a matched-spend benchmark on Google or Meta. Report on CPA — not impressions. The platform is early; treat data as directional, not definitive.
The full decision framework — when to scale, what creative actually converts in conversational contexts, and how to structure your media mix — is in the Premium Issue.

AI just stopped being a productivity tool.
It’s becoming the operating system of business.
This week changed everything:
OpenAI + Microsoft pushed autonomous AI agents from “assistant” to execution layer
Google moved Gemini deeper into enterprise workflows, turning AI speed into a competitive moat
The EU accelerated AI regulation, forcing companies to balance innovation with governance
The winners won’t be the companies with AI access. They’ll be the ones that execute fastest without losing control
TL;DR: We’re entering the era where AI doesn’t just support decisions. It makes them. The real risk now isn’t adopting AI too slowly—it’s scaling it without strategy.

Book of the Week
China isn’t trying to catch up in AI anymore. It’s trying to dominate the entire future economy.
In AI Superpowers, Kai-Fu Lee argues the real AI war won’t be won by the smartest model… but by whoever controls the most data, fastest execution, and deepest real-world integration.
China already weaponized mobile payments, O2O ecosystems, and real-life behavioral data years before the West realized the implications
The next AI wave isn’t chatbots, it’s autonomous systems replacing entire workflows, industries, and jobs at scale
The biggest AI threat isn’t AGI destroying humanity… it’s massive inequality, monopolies, and workforce disruption happening far sooner
TL;DR: Most companies still think AI is a productivity tool. The smartest players already see it as a geopolitical infrastructure race that will redefine power, labor, and capitalism itself.
